Macon City Auditorium:

The Macon City Auditorium offers ADA/Accessible seating on the main floor level. We have wheelchair-accessible entrances on the First Street side of the building, and we provide several accessible parking spaces near the venue. Vehicles must have a permit displayed to utilize these spaces.

Alcohol is available for purchase at most Macon City Auditorium events. You may not bring alcohol into the venue, and patrons must show valid proof of age and be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.

Animals, including pets, are not allowed at the Macon City Auditorium. Service animals are permitted.

Banners and signs are not permitted at Macon City Auditorium events.

Camera restrictions vary by event at the Macon City Auditorium. The event promoter or artist dictates whether still cameras are allowed. Still cameras with removable lenses or lenses longer than 4” are not allowed. Please call 478-803-1593 for camera-policy information prior to a specific show.

Video and recording equipment of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Any guests may request cleaning services by notifying a Guest Services Representative on site.

The Macon City Auditorium requires clear bags for all bags larger than an 8.5” x 5.5” clutch. Please review our Clear Bag Policy for more information.

Macon City Auditorium staff will proactively support an environment free from the following behaviors:

• Sitting in a location other than the guest’s ticketed seat
• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
• Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
• Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
• Interference with event progress
• Failure to follow instructions or building personnel
• Verbal or physical harassment of Macon City Auditorium guests and staff members

Concessions and bars are located on the lower level of the Macon City Auditorium. Depending on the event, additional bars may be located on the Renasant Plaza at Cherry Street, inside the Auditorium at the main bowl seating level, or upstairs on the outside balcony. Patrons must be 21 or older with a valid ID to purchase alcohol.

There are currently no restrictions in place for events at the Macon City Auditorium, but we do ask that any individual who is suffering from symptoms of COVID-19, flu, or other infectious diseases not attend their selected event.

The doors generally open one (1) hour before the scheduled event. This time may vary, depending on the event. Guests are encouraged to come early to avoid delays. Once a patron leaves the Macon City Auditorium during an event, there is no re-entry unless another ticket is purchased.

There are no public elevators at the Macon City Auditorium.

There is a certified EMT on-site for all Macon City Auditorium public events. For assistance, please locate the closest member of our event staff.

Parking at the Macon City Auditorium includes street parking and some nearby lots.

• Non-clear bags larger than 8.5″ x 5.5″. Please review our Clear Bag Policy for complete details.
• Cameras with professional lenses larger than 4” or removable lenses, tripods, monopods, and all other professional video and audio recording equipment
• Illegal drugs
• Large umbrellas – umbrellas shorter than 18” when fully collapsed are allowed
• Laser pointers, aerosol cans, and noisemakers
• Outside food and beverage
• Bottles, cans, or coolers
• Distribution of unapproved promotional material
• Balloons
• Weapons or firearms*

*The Macon City Auditorium is a government-owned facility. Access is controlled by security. Weapons, including firearms, are not permitted in these facilities. You may not carry or possess a weapon or firearm in this building. Violation of this prohibition may result in criminal prosecution. Exceptions extend to off-duty or retired law enforcement officers who can carry service weapons as long as they have proper credentials, enter the main entrance, and check in with our security supervisor.

Macon City Auditorium maintains a strict no-re-entry policy for all events.

Men’s and women’s restrooms are located downstairs on the lower level. Two accessible/family restrooms are located on the main level on the First Street side of the facility and Cherry Street Lane side of the facility.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Macon City Auditorium. A designated smoking area is available outside on the Cherry Street Patio. No smoking is allowed within 20 feet of the venue.

We strongly recommend that strollers not be brought into the venue, as it can be difficult to navigate aisles and seating. If a stroller is needed, please use a collapsible stroller that can fit under your reserved seats and does not block any aisles or create a tripping hazard in walkways.

The Macon City Auditorium Box Office is only open on event days. Please call 478-751-9232 to verify hours. You can purchase tickets at the Macon Coliseum Box Office, open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Tickets can only be purchased in person or online through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will not be sold over the phone.

If you need to pick up tickets or passes from will call, please have your government-issued photo ID and credit card available. This only applies if tickets have already been purchased.

All persons (age 2+) must present a ticket to enter the Macon City Auditorium. All ticket purchases are final. Please note that some shows may have a different policy, which will be indicated on the corresponding event page.
